Exit 17 are a New Paltz based punk band.  James a.k.a. Lunchbox is the singer /guitarist for the band.  He joins us in this episode to talk about his life and music and how he went from chubby teenage nerd to cool as fuck punk musician.

Poor Lily are a Punk/Hardcore "all male power trio" from the Bronx, NY.  The band consists of Adam-Bass and Vocals, Max-Guitar, and Dom-Drums.  Their music is a chaotic mix of time signatures, speed, and screeching guitar.  At first listen they come off as a bunch of guys just making noisy music and having a good time but that's only half the story with this band.  If you dig deeper you will find songs about a world spinning out of control and a government gone berzerk.  At the center of this sonic whirlwind are three experienced and talented musicians working very hard to make it all appear effortless.
